CHRISTINE NOBLE

Christine considers herself blessed to call herself a tattooer and has no intention of halting her steady pursuit to evolve as an artist.

She began tattooing professionally in 2010 and has been in the industry since 2005 working alongside some of the best talent in Toronto.

Christine has been traveling with her craft and expanding her knowledge by tattooing at conventions and doing guest-spots in cities such as Montreal, Saskatoon, Manila, New Orleans, New Jersey, New London, CT and Halifax, NS.  When she’s not on the road, she can be found working at her studio in Markham, Ontario which she opened in 2015.

IN 2018, SHE EMBARKED ON A TATTOO PILGRIMAGE TO GET TATTOOED BY THE OLDEST TRIBAL FILIPINO KALINGA "MAMBABATOK," APO WHANG-OD, IN THE CORDILLERA MOUNTAINS OF THE PHILIPPINES.  THIS WAS AN EVENT YEARS IN THE MAKING, REALIZED BY THE GENEROUS EFFORTS OF MANY.   THE EXPERIENCE OF CLIMBING A MOUNTAIN TO REACH THE REMOTE VILLAGE, BONDING OVER TATTOOING AND NATIVE COFFEE, AND RECEIVING A TRADITIONAL BATOK TATTOO FROM APO WHANG-OD ALTERED THE WAY CHRISTINE VIEWED HER ALREADY PROFOUND UNDERSTANDING OF TATTOO.  IT SOLIDIFIED HER INTUITIVE KNOWING THAT TATTOOING HELD A SPIRITUAL AND PRIMAL CONNECTION TO LIFE, HER ANCESTRAL LAND AND USING BATOK AS A POWERFUL HEALING MODALITY FOR OTHERS.

CHRISTINE'S approach is to capture the essence of your vision using strong, classic and clean imagery that flows with and compliments your body.  Although she always strives to be a well-rounded and versatile artist, her focus has been creating large-scale work in illustrative black and grey based on realism, custom lettering, Filipino-tribal, Asian or Native-inspired styles.
